This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Identification and contact details you give us when ordering or subscribing to the newsletter (name, email, phone, billing and delivery address); order data (items, amounts, history); payment data processed by our provider — we never receive or store your card number; and technical browsing data (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited).
To process and deliver orders, issue invoices and provide customer support — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation (point c). To send newsletters and promotional messages — consent (point a), which you may withdraw at any time. To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and improve the service — legitimate interest (point f).
Invoicing and accounting data: 10 years, as required by law. Order and customer data: 5 years after your last purchase, for warranty and dispute purposes. Newsletter subscription data: until you withdraw consent. Technical and security logs: up to 12 months. After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.
Only those needed to get your order to you: the payment provider (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), the carrier handling delivery, and our hosting and transactional email providers. All process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not sell or hand over your data for third-party marketing.
We aim to keep data within the European Economic Area. Where a processor handles data outside the EEA, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses, with appropriate safeguards.
You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive your data in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. To exercise any of these rights, write to the email above; we respond within one month.
If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Av. D. Carlos I, 134 — 1.º, 1200-651 Lisbon, Portugal, www.cnpd.pt. You are also welcome to contact us first — most matters can be resolved directly.
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you, nor do we carry out profiling of that kind.
The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted to those who need it, and payments are handled by a PCI-DSS certified provider, so card details never pass through our systems.
We may update this policy when needed. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Substantial changes will be announced visibly on the site.
